You remember the day you left? Well I do. I was in eighth grade, young and naïve. You know I felt like you left me? I wasn’t mature enough to understand that you had to. I had a concert to play in that weekend, the only thing I was able to do that didn’t fall in someone else’s shadow. But you didn’t care, you had to leave. I cried myself to sleep that night, I felt abandoned, left and hurt. An injury was placed in my heart that I doubt you’d understand. For 3 days straight I ate nothing but junk food, what did you expect with you and mom leaving me in the hands of Evan and Ryan? So of course as soon as I got to the concert Sunday morning in time to practice I had already crashed. I put on a tough face though; I was going to be okay. That is until I ran to the bathroom mid practice, nearly dropping my Bass on the ground when I left the stage, to throw up for thirty minutes straight. But you didn’t even know about that, of course someone notified mom. But what could she do? She was with you, forever away. So I stayed and continued, and I put on a tough face. I managed to keep that face throughout the day, throughout those years, and throughout the time you were gone.
